Corporate social responsibility (CSR) is the overall term for how companies voluntary incorporate concerns for human rights, labour and social conditions, environmental and anti-corruption issues in their business strategy and activities.
Since 1 January 2009 approximately 1100 of the largest companies in Denmark have been required by the Danish Financial Statements Act to account for their work within the field of corporate social responsibility (CSR).
From 2013 and onwards, these companies are also required to account for their policies and work in regard to 1) ensuring respect for human rights and 2) reducing the climate impact of the company’s activities.
Reliance has experience in formulating and communicating CSR to the company’s CSR-related stakeholders.
